Privacy Policy

The short version

Your .mrpack file is processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload it. We do not store it. We do not log its contents. We use only the minimum analytics needed to understand aggregate traffic, and we never sell data.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not collect, log, or store:

  • The contents of any .mrpack file you process;
  • The names of mods, modpacks, or projects you convert;
  • Personal identifiers such as your email or phone number (unless you voluntarily email us);
  • Detailed browsing history across third-party sites.

2. Information we do collect

Server-side traffic logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, request URL, HTTP status, user-agent string, timestamp). These logs are used for abuse prevention and traffic forecasting, and are deleted after 30 days.

Aggregate analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and aggregate visitor counts. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracking cookies.

3. How conversion works (privacy perspective)

When you upload a .mrpack:

  1. The file is read by your browser using the local File API — it never leaves your device for our servers.
  2. The manifest is parsed in memory by JavaScript.
  3. Mod JAR files are fetched directly from Modrinth's CDN (or wherever the manifest points). Those fetches go from your browser to the mod hosting service.
  4. The resulting ZIP is built in memory and offered as a normal browser download.

The third-party services your browser contacts (Modrinth, mod author CDNs) have their own privacy policies.

4. Cookies

We use no advertising cookies. We may set a single functional cookie to remember your language choice. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

5. Children's privacy

Minecraft is popular with children. Because we do not collect personal information and do not require accounts, the Service is safe to use for users of any age. We comply with COPPA and similar regulations by collecting nothing that could identify a minor.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have rights of access, rectification, deletion, and portability over personal data. Since we hold no personal data on you, these requests would return empty results — but we will confirm this in writing on request.

7. Changes to this policy

We will post any updates here and revise the "Last updated" date. Substantial changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.
